The Process
Step 1 - Fill in our online application form Apply online at http://www.ukgate.com/job
Step 2 - Apply for your Criminal Record Background Check (CRB) You should apply for your CRB check immediately as these documents takes the longest time to obtain. There are two types of checks you can apply for as an individual.
The quickest one is through a company called Disclosure Scotland. It takes 5-10 working days and costs £20. You can apply for it online if you current address is in the UK and you have been living at this address for at least 12 months. Here is the link to the website:

Or, visit your local Police Station and ask for a Subject Access Request form, this takes up to 40 days to be processed.

Fill in the form and enclose a cheque or postal order for £10 along with copies of two official documents that, between them, clearly show your name & date of birth and your name & current address. For example, a driving license, medical card or birth/adoption certificate, passport, which would confirm your name and date of birth, and any other official documents that show both your name and current address, such as utility bills.
DO NOT SEND ORIGINAL DOCUMENTATION.
Step 3 - Order your University transcripts and degree certificate Contact the administration office of your university and ask for a copy of your transcripts/grades. Ask for them to put in a sealed envelope with your university stamp over the seal. Mark the front and back of the envelope clearly in bold capital letters TRANSCRIPTS DO NOT OPEN.
You should also ensure that you have the original copy of your degree certificate to hand.
Step 4 - Get an Apostille Certificate on receipt of your criminal record You need to get an Apostille certificate to authorise your criminal record. Below we have listed two options where you can get your Apostille certificate:

Step 5 - Send documents to UKgate Send us following documentations
Step 6 - Get your E2 Visa stamp When the process is completed, we will send you an E2 Working Visa Number. You should post following documents to Korean embassy in the UK and get an E2 visa:

Step 7 - Book your flight to Korea Arranged by us
NOTE: Your name on your passport and the one on your diploma must be the same
If you are married and your diploma is with maiden name and your passport is with your married name or If you have used your nickname.
ex) Gregory OOOO in your diploma and Greg OOOO in your passport.
If you have different name on your passport and diploma because you used maiden name and married name, you need to send notarized copy of marriage certificate when you do the visa process.
If you have different name on your passport and diploma because you used nickname in one of the documents, you need to check with us or Embassy first and to be sure if that can be proved that "Gregory" and "greg" are the same person by the Embassy. And you need to bring your birth certificate to Korea.
Medical check
When you come to Korea after obtaining the visa, you need to take medical examination and submit a medical check issued from a qualified medical centre in Korea (excluding a private hospital) to Korean immigration. Your consultant will assist you on this matter in Korea.
