Why Mr. Pip has not posted full lesson for task1?

I'm going to take the ielts test on 9th January 2010. I'm not sure that I could achieve my goal because I'm really bad at writing, especially task 1. I don't know why teacher Pip doesn't post the full lesson for this task to help me and many other students like me. Please help us to learn how to write task1 better. Many thanks.

I am sorry but I don't understand what you mean exactly by 'full lesson’, please explain and please make your requests more polite.

The courses that are available at the moment are for describing graphs, charts and tables. Working through these lessons will give you help when writing descriptions in general.

Also, due to the complex nature of these IELTS tasks, there is a considerable amount of time that needs to be spent on planning, recording and editing. These courses take much longer than a few days to plan. Often months. I can assure you that I am in the process of gathering information and planning further IELTS courses for other parts of the exam. These courses will be posted and available when they are finished. I prefer not to rush into planning courses because I want all my students to benefit fully from the lessons. Quality is vitally important to me and will enable students to learn more, and better.

I understand that you need more courses to help with your IELTS, and that is why I am working to produce a full suite of IELTS courses that cover all the skills. However, as I've already mentioned, these courses take a long time to produce in order to give students the comprehensivity they need. Therefore, at the moment, what's available is what's available.

I understand that many students are taking their exam soon. For this reason, students generally use many different sources to make their learning complete. However, please know that UKgate are working to develop more and more courses, but these can only be available when we have devoted the time necessary to produce courses that WILL make a difference to your learning.

Here you can submit any essays to me and I will personally mark them and give you an IELTS score and detailed feedback on how to improve your writing before your exam. Anyway, you don't have so much time to view a full course and to immediately benefit from the skills, because these skills take time to develop.

Don't worry Ha70 (what's your name?). I am very happy to hear comments and suggestions from my students, because it is important for me to help everyone as much as I can. You are clearly motivated and want to learn, which is good. Sometimes I think because it's a different language it can be difficult to know how to make comments and suggestions like a native-speaker. This is why I want to teach English. So many people in the world want and need to learn it and I just want them to improve so they they can use English very well.
