The summer has come and the warm weather is bringing everyone out in their summer clothes.  Last weekend I decided to take my daughter for her first camping trip.  She is 2 years old and she loved it.  She loved playing in the tent and was very easy to send to sleep, which is unusual.  Before her bedtime she helpd us cook dinner on a fire in the campsite.  No not a barbecue; a real fire.  The grown-ups spent the rest of the evening sitting chatting round the camp fire until 1am in the morning.  The next day we went for a walk to a secret lake where you can swim.  If felt like being back in the past when people had no TVs, video games and had to make their own fun out in the countryside.

The camp site is in Pooh Bear country near East Grinstead; between London and Brighton.  I thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
